This Man: Confessed by Jodi Ellen Malpas

This Man Confessed (This Man, #3)

Synopsis

THE STUNNING CONCLUSION TO THE THIS MAN TRILOGY!

The Manor, the very place where their passionate love affair began, fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse's lives. She has accepted that she'll never tame the fierceness in Jesse-and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally gotten beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise, leading Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is. He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy . . . but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess.

Reviews:

Anxious. This one word defined my feelings awaiting the third installment in the steamy and sexy relationship between Jesse and Ava .  Jodi Ellen Malpas did not disappoint! Revealing Jesse's sordid past kept me gasping throughout the entire book and helped me to realize why Jesse behaves in such a manner.
I also laughed out loud on many occasions in the book. Covering up the true identity and undertakings of The Manor so a wedding could be held made for many humorous moments. But the moment that took my breath away and made me gasp out loud was when Jesse handcuffed Ava at the wedding! That was true alpha Jesse style and revealed to me his deep seated insecurities.
I am anxious for possible further installments regarding Kate and Sam's relationship, although I don't know if I am ready to leave  Central Jesse Cloud Nine!

I anxiously awaited the third book of the This Man series and, oh boy, I was not disappointed!!  I continued to be so emotionally invested in Jesse and Ava's ups and downs.  Mix that with all the hot sense F***s, reminder F****s, sleepy F****s and even the compromise F****s, and I quite literally couldn't put the book down!

Jesse, Lord of the Manor, continues with his controlling ways, but you still can still see how much Ava makes him lose his control.  I love that Ava became stronger while still holding onto some of that innocence and naivety.

And speaking of controlling behavior, it seemed almost natural for Jesse to handcuff Ava at wedding!  I mean, really, how can you not love this man!

Jodi Ellen Malpas weaved Jesse's confessions seemlessly into the story lines and helped me understand Jesse and his actions in the previous books.  All were completely unexpected, and yet somehow made perfect sense.  It was the ending to the series that your would never have imagined, but now couldn't picture it finishing up any other way.  Hoping for novellas about Kate and Sam and for Drew too.

The best of the series, but still sad they are over.   Not ready to leave Central Jesse Cloud Nine yet!  ~Tynna

First time British author Jodi Ellen Malpas was born and raised in the Midlands town of Northampton, where she lives with her family. Working for her father’s construction business fulltime, she tried to ignore the lingering idea of This Man until it became impossible. She made time and found the courage to release her creative streak, unleashing the character Mr Jesse Ward, Lord of The Manor.

Jodi took a chance on a story with some intense characters and exploded onto the self-published author scene at the end of October 2012, sparking some incredible reactions from women all over the world. Within two months of self-publishing This Man, Jodi made the decision to leave her day job to concentrate on her new and very unexpected career in writing.

The second instalment of the This Man Trilogy, ‘Beneath This Man’ was published in January 2013 and fast became an Amazon Bestseller, holding #1 position in the chart of its genre for many weeks in both the US and UK. Now the anticipation for the third and final part of the trilogy, ‘This Man Confessed’, is rife and will be published July 2nd 2013 by Grand Central Publishing.
