Inevitable By Angela Graham

Inevitable (Harmony, #1)

Synopsis

After experiencing a humiliating breakup, twenty-two-year-old Cassandra Clarke is fresh out of college and living a simple solitary life without any intentions of pursuing love anytime soon.

When the estate next door sells, the last thing Cassandra expects is the unnerving attraction she feels for her sinfully handsome neighbor, Logan West, the young and charming single father with a playboy reputation.

It’s through Oliver, Logan’s four-year-old son, who keeps popping up in her childhood tree house, that she slowly begins to catch glimpses of the compassionate and wounded man Logan has hidden beneath his strong exterior.

Cassandra knows it's wrong and that she's heading for another heartbreak.
Logan will never be able to give her what she wants…love.

Reviews

A very well written, sweet tale about friendships, relationships, and love. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
Cassie is the girl next door, and Logan is the rich playboy who moves into the house next to hers. However, this is not just a typical girl next door book. There are lots of twists and turns that held my attention. And, unfortunately, a cliffhanger ending. Often I am quite upset to get to the end just to have a cliffhanger, however, these characters are all so well developed and I'm so emotionally attached to them at this point, I am eager for book 2 but willing to wait for it.
Ahh, Logan. I wasn't sure he was ever going to recover from being the playboy. But has he been able to make the change in time? Cassie knows what she wants and isn't going to be manipulated into settling for less than everything. I fell in love with her character and want her to get everything she deserves. Logan's son added another dimension to the story line and I loved seeing the softer side of Logan, especially early on when I still wasn't sure I liked him.
I am anxiously anticipating the conclusion and feel the writing has been so good this far that I can only imagine it will be worth waiting for. - Tynna

I am a sucker for a good romance and this story is the ticket! Cassandra Clarke is attempting to pick up the pieces of her shattered life after discovering her live-in boyfriend and man of her dreams in bed with another woman moves into her grandparents house and begins a new life as a kindergarten teacher.

Everything is serene and peaceful on her country estate until the house next door to her is bought by a sexy man named Logan West. Ahhh...Logan. He is my new book boyfriend!!! Cassie can't seem to move on in her romantic life, and seeing the various women traipsing in and out of Logan's house doesn't help matters. She is attracted to him in a most primal way, but she doesn't want to be another notch on his bedpost. She is holding out for love!

Cassie would prefer to not become too close to Logan, but over time she falls in love with Oliver, Logan's 4 year old son. Between her connection to Oliver and her best friend Natasha pushing her to be with Logan, will she be able to resist him? Enter Luke, the very cute and now very grown up brother of her childhood friend Caleb, who her friend Natasha has always had a crush on. As Cassie and Luke's friendship grows stronger, can she fight her growing feelings towards him and their sky rocketing attraction towards each other?
I really loved this book and had a hard time putting it down. Angela Graham was able to pull on my heart strings and make my feel light-hearted and giddy, reminiscent of when I fell in love for the first time. I must forewarn readers though, that the book does have a sequel and unfortunately leaves the reader hanging! But I feel that the wait for the second book will be worth it! - Kelly

We received an ARC for an honest review of this novel.

I really liked this book!  The chemistry between Cassie and Logan is freaking hot and at times I could feel that wicked feeling that you get when your heart is falling for love.  I enjoyed seeing Cassie bond with Logan's son, but loved how protective he was of his son's heart.  It helped me understand the lifestyle he has created for himself.

Logan is hotttt!!!!  He had me convinced the first time he went for a run 'with' Cassie.  The heat that these two created came out of my iPad and seriously burned into my heart.  I HATE cliffhangers!  But I'm going to give this one a pass, because HELLO, I have to know how it ends.  I can't be left hanging like this.  Fall 2013 is too far, but I guess I will manage, some how.

I will be stalking Angela until I know the release date of the next book and will be one of the first to grab it when it's released! ~ Amy

Author Bio
I am happily married to my husband of five years, have three wonderful children and a beautiful feline companion that keeps me company during late night writing binges.

My love of reading has been life long but it was in early 2012 when I was inspired to finally put pen to paper and write my first story. Since then I haven't been able to stop, fueled purely by my passion to write a story and create characters that readers will enjoy.

New Adult romances are my go to books to read as well as to write. They are young, fresh and full of hope. What's not to love!
