Lick (Stage Dive #1) by Kylie Scott

Lick (Stage Dive, #1)

Synopsis

Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.

Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

One thing is for certain, being married to rock and roll’s favourite son is sure to be a wild ride.

Review

Sometimes what happens in Vegas should NOT stay in Vegas!!

Basically strangers, Evelyn and David get married after a drunken night of partying together. However, David turns out to be a famous rock star and may not have been as drunk as Ev. When word gets out he got married, her world is spun out of control. So much for the quiet annulment that Evelyn though would solve the problem.

Their story started a bit slow, but once they decided to really give the marriage a try, the pages heated up!! I loved their connection, their fights, and their make ups. David's anguish that Ev doesn't remember the night is so palpable. Ev wishes she could remember the night to help her understand this connection she feels with him. David is hot and at times so sweet. Then his trust issues surface and it makes it tough for Ev to break through to him. Mal, David's bandmate and best friend, provides a lot of comedic relief, and I really fell in love with him too! Truly a great love story and I highly recommend it.  I can't believe I love another Rocker book!!

Can't wait for the next one! Hoping it is about Mal!! ~Tynna
