A True Page Turner. Raw and Emotional. Couldn't put it down.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time reading this book. I could feel every emotion along with Cassandra. How hurt she was. How drawn to Logan she still was, despite how deeply her hurt her. Her confusion. Her frustration. Her inability to walk away from him. Her inability to trust him again. I was right there every step of the way with her. It was heartbreaking watching her struggle to recover physically and emotionally after the accident and incident with Logan. She just cannot get any luck with guys, Mark, Logan, and then her dad. No wonder this girl has major trust issues.
Logan, Logan, Logan. Hot, controlling, completely flawed, trying hard to be a better man. How could she resist him? I have no idea. How could she forgive him? I have no idea. I was as torn up as Cassie is over him.
Oliver still steals every scene he is in. Love the secondary stories of Hilary and Caleb and Luke and Julia. and, Oh Jax, really? the kitchen counter???! Man, I hope he gets his own book someday!!
The quick glimpse into Book 3 was just not fair!!! I can already tell it is going to be full of DRAMA and hopefully lots of love and romance too! Cassie deserves a happy ending.
